Smaller Studio was born in the vibrant spirit of Istanbul in 2014 and found its true rhythm in London’s creative heart, Shoreditch, in 2018. This journey between two cities shaped the studio’s unique character: the instinctive flow of the East, the minimal clarity of the West, and a contemporary design language that lives and breathes. For us, design is not a discipline it’s a living, evolving form of expression.

Philosophy

Smaller Studio is a creative space searching for modern interpretations of visual culture. From web interfaces to brand identities, from 3D worlds to photographic and cinematic narratives, everything becomes a composition. New universes emerge where colors, lines, textures, light and silence collide. Those moments we design them.

We believe every brand has an energy, a rhythm, a frequency. To reveal it, we first listen, observe, and feel. Then shapes, type, movement, and digital experiences merge to uncover the brand’s true identity. Our work is layered yet simple; minimal yet unapologetically powerful; modern yet deeply emotive.

HOW WE WORK

We’ll ask you all the right questions to help define your project and create a smart strategy. If it’s a web project, we’ll take these insights and begin to shape the website structure and layout.

We develop our discoveries into a series of visual ideas. You review, and we work together to fine tune the results. We’ll review and revise several times until everything is working just right.

Now we take all that sweet design and tie it all together. For websites, we’ll set you up with standards compliant XHTML templates and/or WordPress CMS that play nicely with Google. Great!

We check in with the project plan and make sure that everything is just the way it should be. Then hand over the goods or hook you up with our tech partners for the launch phase.
